Use the internet and search out other insurance companies to see if they have matching plans at lower prices. I found AARP to be the most expensive place to get auto insurance, no bargain on life insurance, high on road service and most of the products they shill. Either they don't know how to bargain or they are making a profit from this enterprise. I call them All About Ridiculous Prices!

Here I am, an intelligent, literate woman and I was unable to make anything like an informed decision. I went with AARP because I assumed they had the least to gain by ripping me off. I may be wrong. I chose AOL for my internet provider for the same reason. We all know its reputation now! She purchased it through a professional organization to which my father belonged. The last few years of my father's life, the policy paid for virtually everything related to my father's illness, which was quite a considerable amount. You might want to see if any other organizations you belong to (or are eligible to join), such as professional organizations, offer better policies. |
