I'd vote for anyone if I thought they were the right person for the job. I don't care what color they are or what's between their legs. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot to choose from again in this election. All the great leaders are CEOs making millions.

I'm not worried about what race or gender our next president will be, I'm more concerned with what they are going to do once they control George Bush's Hurricane Steering Machine.

i am really heartened by the comments i am reading here. i am disheartened by the superficiality that is often attached to elections, making them into a glorified horse race. i hope after what we have been through the last 8 years, we will vote smarter.

living in the northeast, i am aware that candidates from this part of the country dont often do well in the rest of the country because they are perceived as too ethnic (greek like dukakis or italian like cuomo) or too intellectual (ditto) or too liberal. i remember al gore being criticized for being too boring. this isnt American Idol. i hope people are waking up to that fact and will begin to focus more on the inner person, on the mind inside the candidate and what it is capable of.
