LoL. If you'd been close enough to be startled, I would have tagged you instead of yelling so you'd have been it next round.
BTW, bad as I remember the corn leaves, they were nothing compared to being shoved thru the fresh trimmed hedges when "tagged" playing touch football in the burbs. Shoved because the unofficial rule was "If you're still standing, you weren't touched yet."

We had girls that played with us sometimes.
We tried to avoid, um, ah, inappropriate tags. But sometimes it happened. Diving tag, off balance, sudden change of direction. As long as it was inadvertent they didn't mind.
That ended about the time we started driving tho. So did the games themselves. New things to do and places to go overtook something we'd been doing since we were about 10.
