Gee Lansr, doesnt Limbaugh think he's funny when he attacks the liberals. Doesn't HE get offended and angry when Dubya is attacked? Whats the F****ing point? It looks pretty "two sided" to me.

I still say the radio talk show hosts/announcers/journalists/writers must have taken lessons from FSU "This is Radio Moscow" or maybe Radio Havana Cuba "Free Radio" of the 50's and 60's. Why dont you "get" that they ALL have their agenda? We all need to laugh at these assholes. They just hang up or write something else when anyone disagrees with them.

Dialogue has no meaning for them. it is all about THEIR message and THEIR image.

Maybe that needs to be kept in perspective.

The difference, WhiteManitou, as I see it, is that there isn't the hue and cry for someone to be punished and censored off the air. It is amazing to me that because Mesdames Hillary and Geraldine were brunts of humor by one of their 'own' Randi Rhodes, she got nailed, suspended, and who knows if she'll get fired or not. When she could have picked on Laura Bush or Condi Rice, and there wouldn't have been a murmur of protest, let alone a suspension. the hypocrisy is what I'm addressing, not the 'rightness' of who says it. I quit listening to Don Imus and Rush Limbaugh years ago, as I have Michael Savage and Michael Reagan, once, to my mind, they got too strident and mean-spirited. But I don't call for them to be taken off the air.

The key, too, is that Randi did not say it as part of her own on-air show; she did it as a paid performance in a comedy club, off-air. Yet, got penalized for it by fellow liberals... that, to me, shows no sense of humor - or even balance. But that's me... a Libertarian who reserves the right to poke fun at the vagaries of both the Left and Right...

Well, let's wait and see what happens when somebody criticizes McCain. I'll bet the same thing will occur. Freedom of Speech is on its way OUT in the US. I think they are ALL humorous.

TBD is a great example of your Freedom of Speech remark, WM. We are representative of the nation. "It's okay if I say you're trash, but if you even indicate that I am, then 'flag as inappropriate'."
