we have had a lot of rain in the last 24 hours, which is mostly a good thing. the world is intensely greener!
but, the sewers in this village are managed by iggits, and they are at maximum inefficiency. therefore, i had to plunge and plunge and plunge the toilet this morning. most unpleasant.

yep i had to cover up and seriously protect all the wonderful things i planted over the weekend, including the 5 rose bushes everyone helped me pick out.
i guess i will find out how hardy they are!
