Well- I guess there has to be one. I truly believe we did the right thing by going in. I'm not happy that it's turned in...

I think we should remove ourselves from the Middle East and allow the terrorists to have free reign. ; - )
We could end the world quicker that way and not prolong the agony.
Of course, the terrorists would have to re-group when they got to the Texas borders, 'cause we all have guns.

OK "hipgnosis". You stay in your world, I'll stay in mine. You really proved NO point by your remark.

I can see some smart people are discussing this but I had to jump back in because I hate the ,"You have your facts I have mine !" solution (sorry WM you're still a great TBD contributer ) . Opinions are debatable , data can be interpreted but there are such things as facts and reputable sources .
If you want to pretend that there is a link between 9-11 and Iraq you should be aware that the 9-11 Commission, the mainstream media , your president and the Pentagon all disagree with you . HipnoGnosis wants to know where we read about it , try USA Today or any paper that uses the Associated Press service . I'll make it easy for you to continue to deny by using the radical references like the BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3812351.stm

Today marks 5 years of military action, war, in Iraq.
Was it worth it?
Really? Why?...

My comment to hypgnosis was just an avoidance of any further comment. As he had obviously made up his mind that anyone who did jnot believe him was not living in reality. What else could be said?

I had to find a place to put this, and many of you may have already read it, but I think it is worth some thinking about:

Yet, during the prelude to war people blindly believe "everything" that politician’s say even if it is contrary to the facts...

I have never believed anything Bush has said. I think he hoodwinked a lot of people BECAUSE before elected, he preached what a Christian he was. When I talk to these same people now they say he is the antichrist.

Not likely the antichrist, . . . not smart enough or smooth enough. I don't think he ever "preached what a Christian he was", though. Being a Christian doesn't make one perfect, and every Christian I've met would agree with me.

Right you are WM and I should have said "insist there is a link " instead of, "pretend there is a link ". I've been a bit combative lately .
