Do you feel the pull of gravity? That sense of a concussive event about to happen when a too-high flying organism falls rudlely to earth? Sunday in the Steel City is going to be showtime for the "new" Niners. Will it be a rout? No, I actually think the offense will begin to redeem itself, O-line, Gore, and A Smith, especially. But they'll have to put up 30 points to win, and I am doubting that. Perhaps the defense and the special teams can pull another rabbit out of the helmet . . . very improbable.
But . . . fact is the outcome, unlike in years past, does not feel pre-ordained. For that alone, tip my cap to M Nolan.
On another note; beware Shanghai Kelly's saloon on the corner of Broadway and Polk. The place is a freaking Steel mill. Black and Gold will be everywhere Sunday AM. May not be a happy haven for 9er faithful. Anyone had an experiences there to share?
