Ebay paid for my ugly little fixer upper house years ago.

I still sell on Ebay part time when I can. Vintage toys of course. Ask me anything you want I'm here to answer

As for those sell for you services i've used them too but only for items that were just too big for me to want to be bothered with packaging and sending off such as beer Signs and vintage bikes

Is it time consuming & tedious?

Was told you really need to have a sense of humor when selling because people are really strange.

Yes You do need a sense of humor, oh the stories i could tell you about bidders as well as sellers.

It can be tedious work at times depending on what you sell. Some stuff simply needs a single picture while other things like vintage Barbie may need a good face shot and a close up of her butt markings as well as close ups of any flaws that may exist.

Sometimes you may be selling an item that sells for under 20.00 and get dumb questions in the last hour of the auction asking for you to take all new pictures of Barbie's big toe or something like that.

Sometimes you will get a customer who only thinks to complain about the shipping cost after they have big on an auction that plainly states what the shipping and handling fee's are.

Sometimes when you sell mutable items of the same exact thing they will try the old "I never got my item" routine. requesting that you send it again before they leave negative feedback.

You always have to look out for yourself and get delivery confirmation on everything for those special customers who will start trying to rip you off as a seller.

I once had cases of vintage doll shoe's and found that everyone was trying that old ploy with me till i decided to do delivery confirmation with everything. once i emailed the customers back saying that I would check with the post office to see who signed for the package they all started emailing back that the items arrived the very next day.

I'm not talking about one or two customers I'm talking about 20 or more customers within two weeks.

I can go on and on on certain ebay subjects. just ask exactly what you want to know and i promise i will give you an opinion and a way to deal with the situation.

Once in a while I sell something. It's easy, kind of fun. The only headache might be the shipping. I urge you to give it a try, if for no other reason than experience! Feel free to PM me if you need help.

Trippy hippy is right on. Ebay can be as intense as you want it to be. The key to being a good seller is to stay on top of your sell listings and process auction winnings or sales as soon as possible. There are a lot of ways to continue using Ebay after you've run out of stuff (like we did) and I see a lot of drop-shippers on the site.
