This is turning into a disaster.

I've had to pack away many of the tools that usually help me with my paper crafting so I'm attempting things in a pretty primitive fashion.

Initially, I had a scrapbook page in mind. I was going to keep it relatively simple. A couple of days ago, however, I learned that a friend was in an automobile accident and was asked to send a card...so my scrap book page idea became a card idea. In trying to customize the layout for the person I was making it for, the whole entire idea changed.

It looks pretty crude. I wish I had time to redo the whole thing, but I don't. It's a good thing that you can't tell what that picture in the lower right corner is...because IT'S UPSIDE DOWN! I will fix that before I send the card. No, I did not do any of the artwork myself...it's clip art, so you see, I cheated at everything.

First off, I hope your friend is doing well. Second, this looks great !!! I don't think it's too busy at all. The pretty papercuts joining all the photos are a wonderful accent to the photos themselves. And I really like the way you matted the name in the center. Clipart is awesome, I use it all the time in personal stuff. That whole picky copyright thing prevents me from using it in stuff that I sell.
