Michael,
I told her that (in terms she could understand)when we seperated back in NOV of 2006. She told me back then that she wasn't going to give me one based on "regelious beliefs". Boy, she sure has changed her mind by asking for things she cannot get. I mean what does she want me to do, go shopping for her too? I have a good attorney whom is on top of things and is looking out after my interests.

Tell her that you can't give her a divorce based on your religious beliefs. Then move out and start your new life.

SHE doesn't grant you a divorce. The state does. I don't know how it all shakes out in Colorado. But I bet you can get a divorce if you want one. Talk to your lawyer.

All,
We went to mediation and all issues were resolved and I came out better than I expected. I could have paid more, but I am paying off most of our outanding bills and then pay her a little bit per month for 5 years. I am a happy camper over the outcome.

Here is what the soon to be ex wants: 1) $1,000.00 per month for "maintenance". 2) Part of my 401K. 3) Wants me to put her back on my medical plan at work.
I feel for you Charlie. I just went through this in Colorado. She will probably get the maintenance (used to be called alimony) It depends on how long you were married and what she is making now... She will get some portion of your 401k depending on how long she was married to you while you had it. I don't believe she can legally be on your insurance at work if you are divorced but depending on the state and the judge they might try to make you pay for something. DO like Christy says and get a GOOD lawyer.
