eve, craniosacral therapy has always interested me. when i have had massage, i prefer a gentle touch and i especially like having my head massaged. i used to have a wonderfully intuitive massage therapist, but she moved away. i found it to be very healing and led to interesting insights that helped me break through to healing awarenesses.
someday when i have extra money, i will check out CST.

Ok, so this is my experience. A man came to me. He grew up in cuba, got his degree in medicine. This man as a child saw horrific things and had some done to him and his family. I spent 2.5 hours with him. He had many releases. He was sick for 3 days after, and never called me to tell me what was happening. He said he spent that time in prayer and asking for insight. He called me and said that he felt it was a total healing and he was at peace. I hear this from many who have had this work. It is not a quick fix, but he nor I knew going into it what to expect. We let what was to happen happen.
Lady comes to me. Lovely southern gal, very proper, and very southern upbringing. She has outlived on husband and an abusive relationship both at her fathers hand and her exhusband.
We worked 2-3 times. She shared nothing expressed nothing until the last visit. She just weeped. This continued for a few days off and on. She later calls me telling me that It was an amazing experience. She had not been able to cry for over 30 years, not even at the funeral of her husband. Her lessons were drummed into her "don't cry or I'll give you a reason, we ----'s do not cry!" Words her abusive father left with her long after he was gone.
I tell you this because the deeper the hurt, the gentle process allows for subtle change not intense discharges. Most are not so severe and when they are they usually represent great breakthroughs.
A child whose mother insists "he's so angry, and he keeps hitting his brother and sister all the time, he's so angry!"
Once I gained the child's trust, he told me a story. The story revealed not an angry child, but a lonely and grieving child, mother heard and weeped saying "I never knew!" He wasn't angry, he was grieving. It may be just how we perceive what is and what we choose to believe to be truth really is not.
She saw anger, he needed someone to help him understand his grief, his frustration and loneliness turned into outburst, which were then perceive as anger, as the mother's interpretation.
Fear is the same. The perception of what is a real issue but not necessarily the truth. Where there is fear, you must bring truth, when the truth is revealed fear is no more.
A woman has a string of unreliable men in relationships. SER reveals that she is drawing men into her life that relate to the perception of an 8 year old child remembering how dad was there and then he wasn't. Abandonment. Truth was her mom packed up the kids and left dad. Dad didn't go anywhere, mom did. To an 8 year old she only sees dad is not there anymore. She draws the same in her relationships until she is free of this false belief. Now she seeks men and has a much healthier connection and is not afraid to love and draw someone who will not bring her to relive the past illusions. She is present and very much aware and happy to know she is past it and has a true and realistic view.
OK, that is enough info. Use if you can but if not, I hope you will understand that this is not a form of therapy but an individualized process, assisted by the therapy and utilizing your own inner wisdom to heal. You can heal completely, you just have to be willing to give up the illusion and trust in the truth. I am in no way attempting to diminish your experience only to show that there may be a truth that has been overlooked and replace by a distorted view that is not the truth. Just Sharing, I hope this was helpful and in no way meant otherwise.

hello rosebear,hi all
i agree rosebear that medication has its place. some symtoms serve no useful purpose at all and are just pointless
suffering.
it is no weakness of spirit to aproapiatly use medication. i personally
believe that my medications purpose is
to make the lows bearable (NO PUN INTENDED) ,so that i can continue to grow beyond the damage. i do not believe
that use of medication with out therapy/
support systems are of much value. the exception being wen a persons illness
prevents them from helping themselves or seeking assistance.
- meds can really
help-but they are not THE ANSWER by themselves.,for most people.
take care,
