Well Good Mornin caressofsteel~ I actually loved school days, and that is a good tune for sure.. well today for me my memories were sparked also....with IF YOU WANT TO GET TO HEAVEN by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils... I was sent back to the time in the mountains of Kentucky, at time where my aunt and uncle and my cousins, me and my brother would get out the harmonica, 6 strings and tambourine and sing on the front porch.. my uncle Jake was the harmonica player and this was a signature song for him and me!!!

Well today was a different kind of day for me! Mothers Day and it was messeedd up!!!!!!!! But, my Emoti-song was not about the lyrics but the music..ENTER SANDMAN by Metallica was the winner for me today, the guitar in that tune is absolutely the best ... at least at that moment (hhahahha). It probably wont be tomorrow!!! It will more than likely be some other tune long lost in my head!!!

My weekend emoti-songs are a strange variety.

First on Saturday as I was running errands I heard Prince's "Cream". It reminded me of an afternoon I spent a while back listening to Prince and creating very naughty text/pic messages to set the mood for an evening of lust.

On Sunday, as we came home from a family gathering, "What I got" by Sublime came on the radio. My kids sang out a certain line extra loud in honor of the way they teased me in years past:

"I don't get angry when my Mom smokes pot"

The line being sung especially loudly at me is funny if you know how squeaky clean I am. (My vices are limited to Starbucks and sex.) Anyway, I can't help but smile just thinking of all the fun my kids and I have with wit, humor, and a hefty dose of sarcasm.
