1) Charlie Wilson's War
2) Death at a Funeral
3) PS I Love You
4) Lars and The Real Girl
5) I'm Not There
Stay ...
Philip Seymor Hoffman makes Charlie Wilson well worth seeing, although the character of Charlie is not near scummy enough to be factual.
Death at a Funeral-Hilarious.
The other three I'm anxious to see myself.

What I think is more helpful is telling you what I RECENTLY watched and what I thought of it?
Into The Wild... very much an Existential power movie
with a sad ending.
Jane Austin Book Club... A proper Chick flick for sure! ;-)
TransAmerica-- don't do it! I was curious.. it was awful!
Atonement... ehm, It lost me, fell asleep.
Friends with Money... Another proper chickflick! :-)
No Country for Old Men... I liked it, characters were fun... had a Fargo kind of feel to it, One thing I didn't understand is why it was the Tommy Lee Jones' character's story to tell... but okay.

Rebky,
I liked TransAmerica myself. I will still try Atonement though I could not get into the book.
Did you just dig Into the Wild? That reminds me did you ever see Timothy Treadwells documentary about his life with the Alaskan Bears. If you haven't seen it get it.
There Will be Blood the only redeeming fact is that Daneil Day Lewis was in it.
I loved the Squid and the Whale and really loved Margot at the Wedding. Little children great story. You picked some winners here girl enjoy

So I watched There Will Be Blood the night before last. Yesterday I could not stop thinking about it. Twas disturbing. Did anybody else have a big idea who Paul really was? (Eli's brother, the one who initially proposed the lease of his fathers land to Daniel.) Anyway... I think Eli and Daniel had very much the same motivation in life and both motivations took a turn for the worse because of greed. That's all I'm saying. ;-) I liked the movie but it was long... I had to finish it the next morning.
