what help is there to do an nvq in hospitality and management and were would i go.

Heather,

The vast majority of people on this site are American and I don't think they use the acronym NVQ over there.

Out of the several thousand members of this site, only about a hundred post frequently, and of the frequent contributors there are only two or maybe three in the UK.

NVQ = National Vocational Qualifications I think.

As Bristscot said, I'm an American and have no idea what an "NVQ" is (I thought it was a type of bbq grill until I read Brit's kind explanation.)

So, sounds like you're looking for a degree in hotel or restaurant management? If you are, the two universities I know of to offer that are UNLV (Univ. of Las Vegas), and Cornell Univ. in New York state. There are other places as well, Google is your friend.
