Second Hand Lions- Michael Caine and Robert Duvall and Haley Joel Osment. Entertained through the whole movie.

Choco...

In place of the helo. This is what Wiki says about it:

In an alternate (or extended) ending to the movie, instead of the sheik's grandson, a tractor-trailer pulls up at the gravesite and a detachment from the French Foreign Legion rides out on horseback and act as an Honor Guard. Shortly thereafter, the sheik himself, now wheelchair-bound and elderly, arrives in a limousine surrounded by his harem to pay his respects. The four ruffians that Hub beat up also make an appearance at the funeral, showing that Hub's speech did have an impact, as the men are now mature and respectable.

I think I'm glad I saw the "Yeah, they really lived" version.

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!" Gone with the Wind! Another tough love!...

The Passion of the Christ. Whether you like Mel

Gibson or not, this was a very well done and powerful movie.

when the 5 building that hold all the credit information blow up it's to be expected but oh my god what a great fantasy ending. but the real twist (sorry but it IS in the last 3rd of the film) when ed norton realizes that he IS Tyler Durden his alter ego ... that's a great film climax! of course the film is Fight Club, my favorite film for many reasons but I do love the ending (which is also the beginning!).

How about another old favorite?

I believe one of the best movies (and movie endings) of all time is "Same Time, Next Year" (with Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn). No matter how many times I watch it, the entire story--and the ending--still gets to me.

The Shawshank Redemption not only has the best ending it is the best movie of all time. Although it ranks second on IMBD for some reason even though its score is the same as number 1 and has twice as many votes. Andy in the rain, The warden getting his due, Red walking on the beach, what could be better?
