CHECKING IN FOR THE DAY

Maggie, the coffee isn't that great tasting, but he bought it, so we'll drink the d***ed stuff ! My greenhouse is only 12X14 but I'm able to get a lot of containers in it. We lost a lot of the panels due to the wind and just got everything replaced a couple of weeks ago. I love just sitting in it, but am always seeing something that needs to be done, so I don't actually 'sit' in it a lot ! I'm an early morning person and spend time there then. I swear, sometimes I can see the plants growing ! With the solar lights here and there, it's a right cozy place when the sun goes down. That's when I sit and enjoy it. It has become another room to decorate ! I am grateful.

I fondly remember my Cuba Libra days ! I gave up all non 100% pure juice mixers, decades ago. The vodkas bad, but hey, at least I'm using healthy juice to mix it with !( I'm hoping that makes it a little healthy ?) Have you ever tried Doles, Orange, Peach, Mango juice ? It is to die for ! Not just mixed with booze either. Great marinade on pork and chicken.I also brush it on seafood when grilling.( I will grill in any weather, as long as I can get to the grill ) I don't think alcohol is just for drinking either. I cook with it and I use Liqueurs. Brings a whole new level of flavor to foods !

Murals on your interior garage walls?

Brit, you mean it isn't true that ya'll put rum in your tea !!!?? I tried it once but it messed with the flavor of my tea.

Spoiled the rum as far as I was concerned actually.

Of course I decorate my greenhouse !! Doesn't everyone ? As a matter of fact, last year I DID have a mural that surrounded the entire interior. One of those plastic jobs from Party City. It was a beach scene and very soothing. ( I'm a native Floridian remember ) In my house and yard, if it stays still long enough, I'll decorate or redecorate it. My SO is very careful about passing out if I'm around.

You all have about covered everything. It is cool and rainy here in IL. Had dime size hail this morning. My kitties do not like it at all. Froggy <wink-wink> we do have a crowd here today. booboo will be surprised when she gets back from her vacation. We will have to fix a couple pots of coffee to go around. Patricia- no horn please.
