Sexuality is only one of a myriad of practices in Tantra. Anything and everything is the practice. We just like sex and fear sex in Western cultures so that is where one of the 'healings' is.
Think of sexuality as one of the vehicles you might use to get to where you want to go. The 'fuel' is techniques combined with consciousness so bringing insight, witness consciousness, compassion, communication, patience to the act then builds more of the same. It heals hurt places and expands our concepts of self and other. It creates open compassion and understanding of which we need much, much more of in this world.
A guru? I don't know. Maybe for some people but gurus can be tricky - there are many bad ones out there. Celibacy is a denial of an essential part of each of us. Tantra does not deny sexuality but it does demand control and consciousness so that one doesn't fall into the traps of desire and hedonism that can easily happen. That is why practices such as breath control, meditation, yoga, right speech, etc. are necessary for getting to the 'destination'. The 'destination' being divine oneness with everything - no separation.
