booboo, thanks for asking, was a bump in the road but seems like it is happening.
I will be attending the wedding the first week of June. I will now be traveling with my Sis inlaw, my two nephews and there step brother and step sister, their dad and his new wife.
OH BOY! this otta be sumthin...

Today at the grocery store there was an elderly man and he had a jacket on that said, Veteran of World War II. He looked in good health and about 6'2",very slender and he stood tall and straight. I went up to him and held out my hand to shake his hand. He gave me a very firm hand shake and a smile as I told him thank you for defending our country. He said your welcome and I went on my way. I always do this if I see a soldier or veteran. Always makes them smile and me too.

Good for you ..! Being a Vietnam Vet, I can tell you that "we vets" do appreciate it when a thank you from nowhere comes along !
My older daughter served "in the zone" during the Gulf War .. Her dress blues are in a garment back hanging right next to her Dads, in the back closet..along with her "junk box" right next to mine..
