I often kill or HEAVILY edit my posts to avoid a misunderstanding or avoid starting WWIII. I don't post when a thread turns mean, I KNOW better than to post to political or anti-religious threads, and there's one member I avoid due to a personal attack that still leaves me shaking my head.Some people submit delightfully wry posts, but flamers may not get it and launch a blistering counterattack. How do you handle a public forum if everyone wants to set the guidelines? Some people ARE over the top, unfortunately.
