CHECKING IN FOR THE DAY

These are photos I took on a recent "frosty" morning just after we started irrigating the hay fields. The ice was spectacular--especially on the fence and weeds next to the road. I thought it was awesome the way you can see into the ice and see what it has formed around. Sticks, blades of grass, barbed wire fencing--wherever the sprinklers hit, the water froze a layer at a time so it was very clear. We keep thinking summer is coming but it is being very elusive this year.

CarlaSue, I'm saddened to hear that your husband's not being very supportive after losing your job. We are all sending you good wishes. There is some great advice here, and remember to take good care of yourself; enjoy your much-deserved time off. Things WILL get better.

My big project yesterday was that I picked over a lb. of rhubarb from our garden; then diced the stalks, and simmered a huge pot of rhubarb-strawberry sauce on the stove! You cook it with a mix of water, orange j., brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and strawberries. Then, when it cools, freeze it in tupperware containers. It's really yummy spooned into pie shells, on pound cake, and ice cream!

Hi everybody ...!! TBD only crapped out on me 3 times today ..LOL LOL So I was at the playground all day long !!

Over 70's this afternoon, hot, dry and sunny all day in this part of the UK.

For TBD folks not quite sure what Brit means, England has spotty weather condiations..

- nine spots cludy, overcast and rain with no sun

- one spot sunny and bright ..maybe .. and don't delay in enjoying it either !!
