Hi Jerry,
Welcome. I would like to say, please keep rambling...I haven't participated in this discussion...some might be thankful...hehe...but after reading, for me, an inspirational perspective, I wanted to express my gratitude for your post.
I have/am experiencing the deep connections as you said, that are born out of the fire of experience. They are rare and so very precious.
Again, thanks for your post,
Take care, Deb

I traveled to China for a three-week study trip in 2001. Before I left, I visited my grandmother because I knew she might die before I returned. The night before I left I went to see her, but she was sedated, so I spoke to her and said goodbye.
Dream: While in China I had a dream that my grandmother visited me and she told me she had passed and that she was alright. In the dream all I could see were her hands, which during my lifetime with her, were a focal point of my visits. I was fascinated with how strong they were and all the things that they had done. We would often cook together and there was much interaction with our hands in the cooking process.
When I awoke I called home to verify. I waited until that evening to call, because Florida was twelve hours behind us and it was better to call in the evening to get family members before they leave for work. I called home and my mother told me that my grandmother had died the afternoon before.
The dream made me feel very calm and when I returned I found that my grandmother, at the time of her passing, called out my name and was asking were I was. As a skeptic and a Buddhist, I have been researching this experience because I have scientific questions as to what I really experienced.

Unofrtunately I haven't yet had a relationship with anyone who is on the same spiritual plane as I am. However, that doesn't deter me from remaining spiritual at the level that I am comfortable. I'm hoping to be able to share with someone in the future!

You don´t need anybody to affirm that you are right or wrong, our biggest mistake is to look for, out there what it is inside here···

M123, you hit the nail on the head. It is simply quality vs. quantity. With much responsibilities and busy schedules in most of our lives; it just make sense that we should pay special attention to the people that make a difference in our lives.
It just like a good investment. The more you put into it... the more it grows.

Hi Noanie,
I love your post. May I ask how you determine what spiritual plane a person is on? And, could you describe yours, please?
Thanks for being happy!
love,
Mick.

I was curious to know of others experiences regarding spiritual growth, consciousness, and the effects in their personal...
Isn't that always happening?
