If you want to make tbd grow, give us widget ability on our profile pages. That's what appealed to me at my home sites MySpace and Eons. That draws my friends and me to those sites everyday. It's so exciting to have your personal preferences displayed on your own page--then you have ownership. People want to be able to personalize their profile pages with capability of loading their favorite songs, photos, graphics, etc., to share with their tbd friends. It's amazing how tbd membership has grown in just three months. Just think what could happen with widgets?

I agree with you all on one thing: When people are allowed to load too many widgets on their profile, the thing gets out of control. You can't even read anything for all of the mess they've got going on. Still I want a widget; at least one. I am an artist, and I can learn so much more about a person by what they do with their profile page, in addition to what they have written. I've run across some people who wrote good stuff, but when I went to their profile page, they had borderline porn graphics, or other stuff that revealed a dark-side about them, I don't care to be associated with. I check people out before I link with them. For me, widgets work--as long as there's not too much stuff. 6-2-08
