Lots of good advice here but before you move anywhere visit me in DC. We'll tour the "lil town" and you may prefer to settle here instead.

I think when you try too hard looking you just don’t find. You can travel the world and the person you where meant to find lives only a few minutes away if you just get out of the house and do something fun.
So right about trying too hard for things. I met my ex at a graduation party for my best friend after I had given up and got pregnant with my son after we gave up.
I tried meetup.com, but I live in such a rural area that it came up with nothing. Maybe I just need to give up again and try the "3rd times the charm". ;)

I throw myself into my work to avoid the loneliness, but it's not working...
I have no pets, kids are grown and married and between 2-4 1/2 hrs away...I have about 63 people in my IMMEDIATE family and have been use to being around people...NOW...it's just ME...going BONKERS!!!
IF there is anyone near Bristol VA/TN and northern part of NC, and would like to go do things with or just be a FRIEND...drop me a line...any other suggestions???
Now why can't I have an offer like from such an attractive woman in MY neighborhood? I'd love to hang with you arlawson. We could do all the things your tags say...dinner, movies, drives, etc.
