i love doctors like that! my internist is like that and she's my age and we are a lot a like personality wise. she doesn't take crap from any of the specialist and if she should not know about something because one of the other doctors don't inform her, we go nuts on them together. it's fun!!!
i had another frickin illness back in the early 90's and had uncontrollable shaking and neuro symptoms that all nearly killed me. one of the meds my doctor rx was for parkinson's and it helped a lot. it took nearly a year to recover (it was malpractice that frickin caused it!!!!!). just throwing that tidbit out there. means probably nothing.
now explain to me why you'd want to buy the farm or would buy the farm? it's a lot of work on a farm!! kicking the bucket seems like much less stress and unless you break a toe, sounds much easier to me. of course if it's a wooden bucket, i'd be wearing steel toed boots. what odd metaphors. in any case, don't do either - not till it's time to flip it over to the other side baby!
in the meantime, be careful and for god's sake, don't drive! parts of this crap will pass in time and in a few months you'll hopefully feel a lot better. even if the shaking doesn't go away, hey, you'll live with it - you have for a long time yeah? we all have crap at our ages that we've been living with for a long time. i've had migraine headaches for 46 frick fracking years!!!!! if there was something that they could have cut out of there (not my cerebellum though because pru feels we need to keep that part), a long time ago to have avoided it all, i would have!
and lovey, i haven't kissed a mirror since i was about 11, practicing my incredibly hot closed mouth kisses for micky dolenz. LOL i've gotten much better since then!~

isn't that frick fracking insane!!! my dad <so incredibly often wrong>, swore to me that i would "outgrow" the migraines when i hit 40 because he did. they got worse. he meant well but....... mickey dolenz was the "drummer" of the music group "the monkees". in real life i was practicing on the kid down the street, mitchell. but my heart belonged to mickey.
it was another year though before i got frenched - now that's a story!!! whew. of course you're my bud and my friend. want an invitation - like going to the prom??? LOL
hey, we are close to 100 members!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!! i am so excited! some time today or tonight i will begin page 8 unless someone else would like to do the honors (splurt****). i only ask that you make it clear that #7 is CLOSED and to go to #8. DD, why don't you do it? i have to go get some packing tape so my incredible wit and intellect will be gone for a while. pru, now she's really smart, may be lurking about. and if we're lucky rosebear, booboo, bubba and others will join us soon.
be back in about an hour. "gone fishin'"

I just read the original post of this thread...it said we could grump about anything, and then proceeded to list some examples. Well...on top of everything else...you listed one of my possible ailments. Mad cow disease. The American Red Cross won't take my blood, because I lived in England for more than six months and ate meat over there, during the "danger time." MOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Dangit!
