You bring out the inner qualities of your subjects as does your lovely wife. Great studio work. I've developed an interest in photography in recent years and my work is "in situ" where I try to capture the whimsy of life as it exists rather than work with a subject to bring something out of him or her. I do not believe I could do what you do. Funny thing, I am a therapist who does the same thing you do but without a camera - help the person bring out an inner life so that they can use it to improve their outer world.

I'm attaching a pic I took 6 years ago that has appeared in magazines in numerous countries. My granddaughter is a child rock performer - drummer - but taught herself bass guitar and appeared with a band called Schwervon and brought the house down. She had just finished performing in her family's band as the drummer when she popped out from backstage with the next band. The mags loved what was captured - by accident. I took about 50 to get one that "had it."
