Sitka, Alaska on a typical rainy day.

Well ... basically, eagles are not always majestic, they're scavengers when the pickin's are easy ... and they don't always look regal doing it. So, most city dumps, including the landfill in Anchorage, will have eagles show up at dinner time. Both Homer and Eagle River, have people that bring "last year's salmon" from various fisher people's freezers for the salmon ... they won't eat halibut.

Oooops... forgot to comment on your pic ... looks like a shot from Baranoff Island toward the "Three Sisters". Very typical shot of Southeast ... Thanks!

Hello sfso, Photos are taken (I think) by those who post them. So you can see who posted what. For myself, thanks for the compliments ... I'm sure others will feel the same. If you have some Alaska pics, feel free to post them here.
