I am voting for Obama and the way I decided to go this way is that I closed my eyes and imagined if he was white and listened to what he has been saying. Then I listened to McCain and imagineed him being different from Bush and I see no difference.

What I see in McCain is more war,divisiveness,corruption and more of what Bush has implemented into our government. One doesn`t have to be a rocket scientist to know that this country has fallen about as low as it can get. We have a party in the white house that has acted like fools from the Amnimal House. Bush the ring leader and his henchmen have done what they wanted and when they wanted and to hell with obeying the law.They are above the law and dare anybody to challenge that. McCain has been around these guys for a long time and time enough to pick up on plenty of the corruptions and deceit and lies. Obama is intelligent,has good judgement and a christian with good moral values.

I cannot for the life of me understand HOW you can think that McCain is a corrupt liar. You obviously know nothing about McCain and absolutely NO desire to open your mind to anything past your own bias.

I am sorry but I find it hard to believe that you are voting for Obama with "blinders" on.

Obama is the one who went to Rev Wright's church for 20 years and then claims not to be race driven. Just because a person's skin is black does not automatically disqualify them from being racist.

I was appalled at finding out about the immorality and racism that what went on in Obama's church and what is still preached and glorified today in "black liberation theology".

Rightly so, it would be a cause for great criticism and concern if 97% of the white race were voting for the white candidate. I wish someone had the courage to speak out about this blind Obamamania within the black community.

If it didn't have such serious consequences, at the very least, it could be looked at as just plain ridiculously uninformed beyond belief.

Apart from that, when you speak of morality in a candidate, how could you possibly think that someone who is friends with people who tried to bomb our country could possibly have the good judgement and moral clarity to protect and defend our country as the President of The United States?

I am voting for Obama for specific reasons, and I would never vote for McCain for very specific reasons.

Obama has already made very important changes to our democracy by appealing to and motivating to direct involvement Americans of all age groups, ethnicities, political parties. He exhibits intelligence, discernment, sound judgement with an eye to the future. He understands the importance of our Constitution, and would work to preserve it and restore it, rather than dismantle it as the current administration has done. He has a grasp on all the difficulties facing our country today.

McCain, through his comments, tells me that he is mainly interested in war. His support of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy offers the certain further demise of middle-income Americans. His "jokes" are offensive on every level and not in the least Presidential. His support of big oil is obvious and will only further an economic and ecological downslide and keep lobbyists' stranglehold on our lives. I find it interesting that he speaks to veterans when he has voted against funding their needs.

Do we really want to decide who our next president will be, based on what the rest of the world wants? This is a very dumb thing to do, because we are not the rest of the world! The founding fathers of this country came here to get away from and be free from the thinking and restraints of the rest of the world! To become like the rest of the world is to become Socialist or even Communist! It seems that we are about to repeat history though, because more than half of the voters chose to go along with the rest of the world and become Socialist. God help us!
