My belief system gets "trimmed and adjusted" on a daily basis. As for the many mystics claiming knowledge at the same time: the same is true for scientific discovery and philosophical thoughts as well. "Wireless communication" was discovered at about the same time Marconi discovered by an unknown in the US named Stubblefield. There was also the theory of evolution discovered at the same time by another unknown person around the same time Darwin came up with "Origin of Species".

I believe that discoveries are put out on the "mystic airwaves". Jung called this the "collective unconscious".

Sensitive people "get" the message and those who act upon it are given the credit.

I am a person of many deep mystical beliefs (including a belief in God). But my "belief" is not enough to prove it to anyone else but ME.

I agree that our belief system gets adjusted with each new meaningful experience in our daily lives. Experience is a great teacher. By the way, has anyone seen the film, What the Bleep do we know? That is fantastic mind shifter. In this film scientists - physicists, theologists, neuroscientists, psychologists, quantum physicists and so on discuss about the reality of things and I think the concensus was that there is a level of knowing that is beyond our human comprehension and I think that is God. It's an unknowable essences. It's like the dog and cat cannot understand humanity the way we understand them and articulate what they are about. Similarly, we cannot understand the the essence that created us. These scientists are left with more questions as they find answers. Quite fascinating this question of God and what God is.

Anyway, perhaps someone can suggest another topic if this one is too complicated. Let's hear from some of our friendsforlife members.

I have seen "What The Bleep". I even own a copy. But, alas, there is no violence or overt sex. So, most of the public will not ne interested. It is a GREAT film.

Great. Have you ever listened to Deepak Chopra. He was the first one that got me on to this quantum physics idea. He speaks with a lot of clarity so it is easy for a nonscientist like me to get it.

I've looked at this film about 10 times and I still need to see it again. I have to try and buy a copy of it for my home library.

In one way, I feel closer to God - I am closer to His age now than I was when I was a kid!
