I know this is stretching but as I think of possibilities could this be a good reason for concealed carry. If only that first car on the scene had a firearm on them. I hate to think of how that reflects on our society. Dave Zien several times tried to get concealed carry passed in Wisconsin and he was eventually voted out of office. I don't think everyone carrying a gun is the solution and I know that there would probably be a higher risk of accidental shootings but .....?????????

I used to live in St Petersburg,Fl.We went back for a visit,it was crazy enough when we lived there, but let me tell you, people just driving are nuts if you accidently cut them off,or make some kind of error.

In fact, you don't even have to do anything and they use the car as a weapon.Factor in the heat,...I don't know.Look at the ass that killed this little boy,he would've still beat the child, but if he had a gun, most likely would've shot anyone even stopping

Yes I agree that is what would have happened and I suppose the possibility of that is what kept people back.

Taking myself off topic here sort of but this headline this morning is very very disappointing to me:

Child rapists can't be executed, Supreme Court rules.

I heard the same thing I never was so mad it was like they can do whatever they want to children but no punishment for monster that hurt the child because it would be to cruel. ( Am I missing something)

I don't think you are missing anything at all. The majority opinion included that this would be cruel and unusual for the particular crime...that the severity of the punishment did not match the severity of the crime. How much worse can it get if you rape an 8 year old child who has the misfortune of being stuck with you as a stepfather?

Add another to the list of convicted child molesters and victimizers who are released by our prisons and continue on with the horror against our children. Here we worry about Iraq when we cannot protect the children in our own country from these monsters.
