Guys do get fibromyalgia, just not in the kinds of numbers that women do. Any doctor who knows their stuff should know that. You are not alone, some kids even get it, but the age of diagnosis for most is in their 40's, after years of problems. Many think they are going crazy, and go from doctor to doctor, before getting diagnosed. Tell people, make them aware that you have a real problem, and that so do other men. If you want more info, send me a private message, and I'll try and find the info I have on men & fibro.

Yep it's just another reminder how different people are, even those with the same health challenges, often react very differently to medicines, one may tolerate it, and the other not tolerate it, one may get relief on it, and one may get no relief.

But guys do get fibro and it is thought to be somewhat hereditary so you may want to look back on your family history and see if you notice anyone having had similar symptoms.
