I can't find anything to hold my interest. I've started I don't know how many books lately, both fiction and non-fiction...

I thought I was the only human on the planet that didn't care for Atonement. Couldn't stand Briony's character, though there was something fascinating about her. The ending, so critically acclaimed, left me feeling manipulated. I don't think I could sit through the film.
Did you read The Thirteenth Tale? Very enjoyable!

About the only books that really held my interest and I kept reading them was the Left Behind Series. Those are pretty good but really got me to thinking about life.

I'm currently reading "Me to We" Finding Meaning in a Material World by Craig & Marc Kielburger. Craig - aged 12 at the time, formed a group called Free The Children, in 1995. There are also contributions in the book from other people. It has grabbed my attention because I'm in the process of looking for ways I can be part of the solution to a more peaceful, fulfilling life.
I'm also reading "Loving What Is" Four questions that can change your life, by Byron Katie. She talks about there being 3 businesses - my business, your business & God's business - when we're focused on any business but our own - we become unbalanced. I'm not too far into it - but certainly am enjoying it so far.

You might want to take a look at Stephen King's book "On Writing." It's a combination of autobiography and advice about writing. I'm not a big Stephen King fan, but I found this quite interesting.

I just began Baudrillard's "Simulacra and Simulation; about mass reproduction and reproducibility. reminds me of Walter Benjamin's Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction but post Marxist.

It seems to me, that everyone here is busy reading TBD, and is having problems finding time to read. The only reading I...
That sounds like me as well. I do like the (angels) magazine that I get sometimes. Then I pass it along to another.
