For me, nothing beats BBC radio (FREE!) and I just love the Craig Charles Funk Show best of all ...

You can pull it down on demand, and there are lots of other shows ... you'd never run out of material there ...

I love this nifty little internet station called NeverEndingWonder Radio. If you're broadminded in your musical tastes you will love it. I don't care how wide your musical experience is, you will discover a wealth of music, comedy & spoken word weirdness here that is new to you. They're into their Summer mix now too, with all kinds of music that relates to the Summer. I might be a little biased about this station...

When I lived in Maryland 98 Rock was excellent also DC 101.

In NJ, I can't find a really good station,

TheHawk 105.7, that is pretty good.

I like rock n' roll.

It has been a few years since I was able to listen to KBCO, but it is a great station. I found one in San Antonio one, dont remember the call sign, but it was similar. I was listening one day and they started a set with Patsy Cline and ended with Peter Gabriel.

Hey Colby,

I too am a big fan of KFOG...so I thought I might be able to address the rest of your post. WFUV.org is out of NYC (fordham university station) and is amazing. They do not have commercials and do have NPR bulletins, a great start. You can stream online, as I presume you are in the bay area if listeneing to KFOG. As far as the satelite issue, I agree with the person who said if you drive alot its worth it. I do-drive alot- and I love it. I have XM, and besides some of the "decade stations" I also tune into a couple of stations that showcase new and up-coming artists, independant artists and not yet signed...also no commercials.

Happy listening!
