hi everyone. i am back and have lost my hungarian accent. i feel i have so much to catch up on.
nancy, i'm sorry your doctor that you like is leaving your clinic. Lord, please send a doctor that will be a blessing to Nancy. We know that YOU, Lord are her great physician - so we will not be afraid or worried. Please use Nancy mightily to minister to the doctor that comes. May that one be amazed at her faith and may you be glorified because of it. Thank you Lord! In Jesus Name, Amen!!
And Lord, please help Eltee sell her house quickly. You are our provider, so how can we be afraid. Help eltee to be filled with joy and a great sense of expectancy as she waits to see what wonderful thing you have planned for her. Give her peace and continued faith and courage, Lord God. Thank you for helping her to remember what she has probably always known, that 'anywhere with Jesus will be home sweet home." Help her to laugh and celebrate with her friends today and be a witness to your goodness in the midst of difficult circumstances. Thank you JESUS!!! Amen!
And Lord, please bless all my friends/sisters/brothers here at TBD. Each one has struggles, some with pain and illness, some with finances, some with broken heartedness. I am so glad, Father God, that none of our problems are hidden from you, that none of us are forgotten or overlooked. I am so thankful that you have rescued us, because you delight in us. We love you Father. Please help each one to remember that we are not alone, and to call out to you and receive your comfort today and always. Let us keep our eyes fixed on you, Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Amen.
Well....i must get going on a million things. gracious, so much to catch up on, but i have missed all of you very much - but have felt your prayers. God is faithful, good and loves to lavish us with his gifts.
Happy 4th of July everyone!

Cinder, ditto on all you have said . . . the prayers for all, the encouragement.
My daughter and son-in-law are coming in from their military bases for the weekend. This will be the last time I see my son-in-law for awhile. He's flying out to England, then will be deployed to Iraq. My daughter is based here in Texas for another 4 months, then will be sent to England.
Gotta go . . . much to do in preparations today. My husband is making his famous sweet barbecue ribs (salt rub, honey, pineapple juice, and brown sugar!), and I'm making my homemade potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans! My sister is bringing a homemade chocolate cake.
Lance, glad you're back and hangin' in there! Hope you can enjoy the holiday weekend, big guy! editor, take a few minutes off to put your feet up, and thanks for the "thread of solitude!" Welcome back, Cinder!
Love In Christ,
Judi

Cinder thank you for the prayers for all. Thank you for catching us up. And thank you for coming at unexpected moments on your trip. We now has an inside joke about your Hungarian accent. I know how overwhelmed I was at catching up. I pray that you will get the appropriate rest and sleep you need as you pace yourself.
Judi, how difficult for your family to be separated. I am proud they serve. I pray often for our troops. You have given me two more to individualize my prayers for. I hope this weekend is very lovely for you. Glad you are coming here. It is definitely a place of refuge. Come often.

I left my house about 5:30 and got home about 11:00 I had dinner finger food and bbq steaks and they have a hill on their driveway where they made a waterfall by where they park ,above the waterfall they made a brick patio with a fire pit so we walked up stairs they made to that and sat around the fire pit and the children roasted marshmallows and one man played his guitar and we sang songs and worshipped until it got dark enough to set the fireworks off .We had a small flag and stood while the children sang Our country tis of thee this was all done outside around the firepit.A deer came down and watched us while we were singing then it dissapeared

Wow Nancy! What a wonderful 4th of July you had! I'm glad you got to go.
We went to the parade in our town yesterday morning. It was pretty lame, no bands :o(. however, there was a bunch of really old army jeeps and one had a veteran from WWII in it. it was really cool and i was glad to wave at him. the horses were pretty as always and all spangled up with red, white and blue glitter paint.
we tried our best and stayed up until 9pm. jet lag hit really hard and we were soooo exhausted. but i slept all night long and feel much better this morning.
we go get our weenie dog at my husband's mother's place today. i'll be so glad to get her back. i've missed her!
hope everyone has a continued good 4th of July weekend.
blessings!
