Hands down and without a doubt, here are the two films that scared the daylights out of me when I was a teenager:
Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte (OMG...Betty Davis!)
and
Carrie (those creepy hands coming out of the dirt at the end...WOW!).

I adored Vincent Price, too. When he was out of character he was such a sweetheart. More like the character he played in "Edward Scissor Hands." Saw him on talk shows. He was the sweetest person.

When I was in college Vincent Price gave a short lecture on art. He was casually dressed and very pleasant. When he finished the lecture he recited "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. Very cool
My Movies:
The Haunting-Original. It was scary without any gore or blood.
The Thing-Carpenter's film There was some very freaky scenes that took me completely by surprise.
and when I was a kid -- try not to laugh
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken--anything with ghosts creeped me out when I was young.
Another one to add:
Black Sabbath--1963(?) Mario Bava film It has three short stories. The creepiest one was A Drop of Water.
