However... I can complain about the nonsense of travel and people who drain me, and costs that exceed my expectations, but I do continue to work out. I run, walk, yoga, weights -- all that crap and that is the stuff that makes me feel well again.
Traffic, frenzied work, and tedious chores and people wear me out.
Oh yes! Nature restores my vitality after all that draining. I now love the sound of birds, the look of trees and flowers and sun and stars. That is a new development for me. A new appreciation.

You know the saying.. " If you don't use it, you lose it.
Um, I used my hair - I used it to cover my head. I lost it anyway. Ok sure, I didn't lose it. I saw it each morning in the sink. But you know what I mean. Although many a mornings while in college I woke and my hair hurt. Perhaps it was to foreshadow ...

Sounds like you might have a little depression going on too. I am sorry if you do because it's hard to pick yourself up and get moving again. Been there and done that and I'm sure it will happen for me again, but I won't lay down and give up. Life and living isn't always fair or easy, but for now I try to make the best of what I have....

Oh hell no, I'm cheery! I just ache because I spent the weekend doing outside things and I got a bit sunburned. Actually I think the 40s are the best. (I'm 46). The twenties you spent acquiring the tools. The thirties you spend building the career. And the 40s is the fruition of the foundation you built and the harvest you've earned. I meant this entire discussion as a jest because my arms ached while I worked out.

My apology for not realizing it was a jest.. Maybe need to add a little humor with it next time...
Hope your arms feel better tomorrow..

Sometimes the irony is lost. I enjoyed your comments - have to agree: a weekend of pool volleyball has just about done me in :)
