Cinder, I say what Gayle so eloquently said to you. I know you don't want good vibes as your request, I know your current struggles, I honestly do, but I also know it is good to hear from you!
Your family arrived by now. May you be prepared to minister to them asd you did to those on your mission trip.

cinder, thanks for the kind words about the children. i have had teacher friends tell me the same thing, and even tho it is still sad, it is something care givers everywhere struggle with. to me it is another reminder to leave it all in God's able hands, after we have done what we can do. i hope you are having a manageable week.
gayle, yes, the travel document situation is troublesome. i have a meeting tomorrow night but dont know if i have the energy to address that particular issue. perhaps when we describe what happened, someone will get the point and understand how the whole group is jeopardized. the fact is it may be a moot point since there may not be a trip next year due to rising transportation costs. i dont know. my brains are still a bit of a mush.

My family and I are actively serving as missionaries here among the Tarahumara Indians. We bring the "living water" by providing clean drinking water in the remote villages.
Missionary life definitely has challenges you could never foresee. Only by God's grace can we do it.

You are such an inspiration to us all RoseBear! Please continue to share all of your adventures. I have never been on a mission but need to explore that now. See you have already inspired me!

Pamela, thanks for posting! It means a great deal to the missionaries to know they are supported. It means even more to me that you have joined in. You know you are loved and welcomed here.
