Okay, I am a native northern Californian, grew up on the peninsula and now live in San Jose, which we all viewed as a vast farmland to the south which no one would want to move to, unless they wanted to grow prunes or walnuts or something. Wow. . . .were we ever wrong. . .talk about changes! Can you remember when Hwy 280 went in? If you can, you have been living here for more than a little while. Then came the high tech revolution and insto change-o. . .the whole area went nuts! So here we are after all these years, or maybe you are a new arrival to Silly-Con Valley. . .what brought you here originally? What do you love about it? Hate about it? Wish or envision were different or what are you doing to make your vision become a reality? Not everyone works in High Tech here of course, and if you are not, what do you do here? (I teach) and even though I am not in the high tech field, all of our lives are affected in one way or another by "the industry". Another promising new field or hybrid are the green tech companies which are sprouting up all over, from solar, to innovative cars like Tesla, and bio-tech. . . .what are you up to? What is your passion and where do you like to hang when you are not at work? (Or are you always at work more or less?).
