Any have a hysterectomy??

I'm 44 and had to have a hysterectomy 3 mos. ago. I'm fully recovered and back in the saddle again, but love making is not quite the same. I'm still able to orgasm, but not nearly as intensely as before. I'm hoping this is temporary and not how things are going to be due to missing girly parts. DH has been jumping through hoops trying to please me, and although I thoroughly enjoy the meal, dessert hasn't been nearly as sweet. ;o(

What have your experiences been?

Hmmmm... I don't know Coral. I had mine just over a year ago and I've had the exact opposite effect. My sex drive has gone through the roof.

I think everyone is different, but a lot can depend on if they left your ovaries in or not.

My wife had her hysterectomy before I met her just after delivering her second child. I don't have any knowledge of how she was before, but WOW she has some pretty powerful mind blowing orgasms.

Of course she doesn't talk about how sex was with her ex. She'd like for me to believe they didn't have sex, but the two children they have together proves otherwise...LOL
