One time I went on a date with a man who was an E.M.T.
The first date went well enough, so we made plans for a second date.
He never called to cancel the date, Never showed up and was not answering my calls, so I figured that was the end of that.
About a week later I received an instant message from him saying he was called into work and couldn't have shown up on that night so could I please forgive him and go out with him on another day.
Of course I asked him why it would have taken a week to get back to me, and why he couldn't have found time to at least send a text message or heck, he could have sent a letter in the mail and I would have known sooner.
He then started going on about how important his job is and how he just doesn't have that kind of time.
I then attempted to explain to him that if he had decided to spend a week away from his job because he was with a girl, he would expect to get fired so there was no way that he should expect a second chance with me after doing just that..
His only argument was that I just didn't understand.
I was acting just like his Ex fiance did when he would disappear on her.
Some people just don't understand that dating takes at least enough commitment to actually show up when your supposed to.
Actually getting into a serous relationship takes even more commitment.
Its a sad truth, but some people just don't know they are UN DATABLE so they just go on trying without ever having a clue
