caught a ride to the party with the cops. after they let me out of the car and took off the handcuffs, i stepped over the referee, and noted that his flag was still in his pocket, which apparently is a good thing, as a major penalty of fifteen yards could put you clear across the street, and they don't party over there. i walked through Kat's party place, and found nothing broken, no cigarettes put out on the carpet, nobody passed out, in fact all looked civilized and organized. must have been a tbd party. mighty fine bunch of people. only negative thing i saw was a sabre-toothed crotch cricket, barking for its owner. scary. i ran, the cops chased, the referee stretched and started for home, and it's another day beginning on bleeker street, as the fog settles in. great night to be a fish, even if i did miss the party. cheers. nemo
