I also have a tendency to hide it. But I have had trouble with people commenting on how I don't "look" disabled when I use my handicapped dangler. I even had a cop in Jacksonville, FL destroy my dangler because he didn't believe I was disabled. Now, when I hear the "You don't look disabled." comment, I get cranky and respond with "You don't look stupid either, but looks can be deceiving." I've tried explaining, but it's truly none of their business. Those close to me know, but even then I tend to push too much since I hate missing out. BTW, did you know that there's a website devoted to pix & descriptions of people parking in Handicapped spaces that the webowner and its members THINK shouldn't be parking there??

I also have what they now classify as an immune disease, Crohn's Disease with a bit of colitis on the side. Luckily its mild and doesn't really impact me as long as I don't have a flair up and take my meds.
Also did cancer in my 20's, they just cut it out...oh it was testicular. No kids, which may be a blessing because I'm not real parental.

I have a good friend in Sioux Falls. He says they refer to Sioux City as Sewer City. People are always mixing them up.
