Best for me learning to read my Bible in a yr.Worst?hmm...not letting God handle all my worries...get into trouble trying to fix things on my own sometimes.Editor wrote this...

Nancy, if you could only see the progress and healing and the emerging of yourself, as I see it, you would be astounded. You know my bud is always in my thoughts and prayers.

Worst: Car accident in February that killed a friend and left me with multiple fractures, bruised internal organs. My husband fell and broke his back in April.

Best: Above accidents and not having any source of income, no health insurance, no family available for physical support tested our faith in God's grace. and knowing God was also testing our diligence in staying positive to Bible doctrine. We knew that he would keep us alive and in His bosom [El Shaddai) until such time as He was ready to bring us home.

"The name El Shaddai, the God of many breasts, clearly indicates that the righteous and loving God Jehovah cares for us as a mother cares for a newborn child. Everything we could possibly need, exactly when we need it, God IS!"

This certainly has been an interesting year so far. Here's what happened.

WORST: My husband died on May 21.

BEST: My first grandchild was born on March 3.

I got to observe the cycle of life firsthand. Life and death. Both in their own way a gift. I am more appreciative of what we have been given. Thank you Lord.

this is a year of tremendous transition for me. i turned 50 and my daughter is on her way to college at the end of august. i have been devoting the best of my efforts and energy to providing her with a safe and peaceful home for the past 10 years.

Best: my daughter's graduation, being awarded many scholarships and grants, being accepted to her first choice school, a competitive and notable place in boston

Worst: too soon to say, or as a german general, whose name escapes me, once said "I have learned never to praise the day until after the sun sets". and so it is in naming worsts. maybe i have been blessed beyond measure and am only still seeing that, yet...............tho, i have to say her father's refusal to help in any way financially with my daughter's college expenses has not been a high point.

Best: God getting me through some hard times

Worst: I have health problems that have gotten worse this year.
