Madonna Mia?

I have never bought a Madonna album, or seen a movie since Desperately Seeking Susan. But this was an interesting NY Times article on her latest fashion as she turns 50:

Ditto for me. I never understood her mystique or got caught up in the rage. It was an interesting read. I wonder if it is motherhood that has finally calmed her down or if she really is lost at 50?
