A great weekend here. Spent several wonderul hours with a friend yesterday morning before visiting my hospice patients. Always leave there better than I came in. When I got home, found an invitation to attend a limited-attendence town hall meeting in which a presidential candidate will participate. So excited!
Today, I took my 85 year old BFF to see "Sex in the City" at her request because none of her peers wanted to go. We both loved it!
Overall, a stellar weekend!
Hope the same for all of you!

AND waiting for confirmation of job offers! Last time I spoke with the headhunter was July 17, at which time she indicated I had it, but they were "talking about salaries." So here I, um, sit . . .
Bike injuries are slowly fading away. Literally! My left arm is now a charming shade of pale purple, with lovely yellow and brown overtones. Leg is getting better, but still moving cautiously. Worst part about all this is that none of it was my fault! !@#$%^! kids . . .
Cheers!

Snakes always give me a shiver. I wonder how many people share that. I'm not sure which ones are harmful, and when they appear suddenly, your defences are not set to receive.
My husband knows his snakes, and is quite friendly to them. And both of my sons, once they ascertained the slithery fellows were not poisonous, liked to pick them up and look in their faces.
Yes, let us know, M/D, and GOOD LUCK!

Um ... Westerly? I don't even want to face the fact that snakes have faces. I'm not intimidated by conflict. I don't shy from adversity. And I've grown accustomed to planting my feet, standing my ground, and cutting my losses over a principle. But by God, mice scare the bejesus out of me and a bat makes me squeal like a girl.
I had my head shaved today. Well - the word shaved is extreme. Let's just let the word "buzzed" sit for a bit. I'm pouting over the fact that I'm dashing toward "bald" with each year passed 40. I am not pleased. But it was a good day :)
