Research on Baby Boomer "Solopreneurs"

I am in the early stages of developing a book and/or blog idea and would like input from this group. The premise is this: there are a lot of baby boomers (age 45-65) who want to get out of corporate life and start a business on their own, but who don't want to to work 100 hours a week, have lots of employees and overhead, etc. They want to be "solopreneurs" who set their own schedules, work as much as they want, make as much money as they need, and have a better quality of life. I am looking for examples of people who have done that and what their secrets of success are. If you are one of them and want to share your story, please reply here or email me at mitch@betterwaycoaching.com . thank you!

What about if one has been a solopreneur but has plundered all of their earnings back into their own business, and now all of that equipment is now worth 20 cents on the dollar?

My new venture is http://www.shareamillion.com.

I think that fits your definition of solopreneur.
