I seem to be posting a lot of prayer requests these days. Today I request prayer and support for one of my second moms. I received a call this morning that the mother of one of my dearest friends was diagnosed with lung cancer. At this point we don't know what stage she's in, or what the treatment plan will be. It's hard to be at that point where you know you have a battle on your hands, but you don't know yet how tough that battle will be, or what the battle plan is.

Please pray for strength for the family, and especially Mom. Please pray for healing. And while you're at it, join me in sending up a 'Thank you' that she has a great daughter that loves her very much and is by her side through this tough fight. Family is sooooo important, especially during something like this. And I know first hand how important a loving mother-daughter relationship can be.
