Wow! This is so cool! The most I see around here is a frisky squirrel!!

There are wonders everywhere, Pam. Frisky squirrels are cool, too. We had a bear in the back yard two weeks ago. I'll put up some "carnivore shots" later. It's a fun life!

In addition to being a mainstay in rural villages here in Alaska, moose provide so much more nourishment than just food. They're such unique animals, they provide a much appreciated dose of humor also! Great pics Jon, thanks.

Maybe like you, I grew up eating moose, caribou and salmon, Arlene. We never felt good about going into winter until the moose was in the freezer! .... and you're right ... they are fun to watch.
