God is love. We need to walk in love and obey God. To be saved one needs to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. God knows your heart.

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 The name is Jesus. There is no other way to heaven. We cannot work for it, it is a gift through Jesus. In the end, all we can claim is the name of Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. He IS the path and door to heaven.

Jesus is the door. We need to know Jesus in order to know the Father.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

Question:

There is a myth, a picture you see, where everyone is in line to get into heaven, and there's a book that has all of your sins written on it. It seems, by what you are saying, that that book must be filled with empty white pages, because all of those sins are redeemed. I know this picture isn't Biblical, and I assume the book is some reference to the Book of Life, but I think a lot of people have this same picture in their heads. Anybody else ever have this idea, or is it just me?

Works cannot get you to heaven. Grace only can. But once you receive grace the Holy Spirit will ask you for works or fruits. Somepeople will get by on little and have a smaller reward in heaven and others will do a lot and have a bigger reward in heaven. Personally I think no matter how many crowns I earn I will cast each and every single one at Jesus' feet. As far as the book of life no it isn't blank because God says He will block your name out of the book of life.

Just remember, Faith with out works is dead.

Works alone will NOT get you into heaven.
