Ya know, even though I am a supporter of President Bush and the theory that fighting terrorists overseas is better than fighting them on our soil, I have to wonder what the motive behind this Israeli/Palestinian Summit really is. When I saw Clinton doing the Israeli/Palestinian thing in the last days of his presidency, I thought he was just doing it to add to his legacy. So now with less than a year before the election and just a little over a year before Bush is done, is Bush trying to do the same thing?
BTW - not commenting here to argue pro/anti Bush, but would love to listen to the theories about US presidents love affair with the Israeli/Palestinian thing.
