Mine do. It isn't really much of a problem though because their Mom does a pretty good job taking care of them. Except when she doesn't want to get up in the morning...lol

The youngest does right now. My son is in the AirForce, and they are stationed here for awhile. They came here on a hardship when my husband was dieing. So my son had to cross train to get here. I will be forever grateful that he was willing to do that. Our situation works well, or it would not exist, as they do not HAVE to live here. We each have our own areas here in the home. They have their own furnishings in the recroom , I have mine in the living room. They have their own things in their bedroom, as well as the little man has his own things in a bedroom. I have my own room . We share the kitchen, but no one is expected to cook for anyone else. Though we do at times. We come and go as we please. Can include the other in our activities, and do often. But do not have to feel obligated to do so. They help with the expenses of living here. All food bought by both go into the same pool. All are welcome to dig in to whatever they want. unless we specify it for a special reason. Our schedules are different so no problems with the bathroom. I love this situation, and they have been here now for almost 2yrs. My son will be going to the middle east soon. Daughter in law and little man plan to stay here while he is gone. I know they will move on one day as my son is soon to retire, and time will be up here. But for the meanwhile, It works. And I enjoy every min. of their time here. Will miss them when they go. But will be happy as long as they are happy. We grandmas are so lucky. It is a great time in my life.
It almost seems as though she does seeing she's here from Friday-Monday and goes home on every Tuesday-Thursday. Her mom works a lot so I don't mind.
My two grandsons live with me along with their mom. It's not a bother as she takes good care of them. I do cook a lot of the evening meals because I love to cook but sometimes either she or my son will do the cooking and Nana gets a night off!
I have one granddaughter and her mom living at home. She just mustered out of the Air Force and No daddy . At one time I had 3 households with 3 grandkids plus their daddies living in our home.a 3 bedroom rancher. While they were there my wife became very ill, as well helping ailing parents and a dying business my father and I found 35 years ago.All this financially broke me and probably for good, but I still do it the same way, once you make them they are yours for life and the grandkids are bonus
